Basic Purpose

To coordinate and conduct Salesforce System administration through business partnership, data acquisition, analysis and development of process improvement. Identifies, coordinates, documents, and implements requirements by determining solutions that enhance Salesforce business systems, as well as provides support to business operations and processes. To analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage the nCino and Salesforce systems and processes. Work with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new nCino and Salesforce functionality. Using Salesforce knowledge of and specific software applications, assist the business to implement strategic vision through the technology. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.


•Serve as primary system administrator for the environment
•Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
•Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
•Manage data feeds and other integrations
•Assist in training of new users, and grow the skill set across the organization
•Evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness
•Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics
•Support project team with troubleshooting, particularly, determining where error or problem exists, provide solution options and update code as necessary
•Support build out of nCino/Salesforce environments to ensure that code is properly implemented (UNIT, INTG, PROD and PERF) and to confirm correct linkage of nCino/Salesforce links to NFCU on-premise environments for testing
•Develop / support integration of nCino with eGain Enterprise email integration including email templates
•Oversee the implementation of Salesforce releases, nCino platform updates and environment controls
•Uses elicitation techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder’s needs
•Analyze, define and document technical design for Salesforce data, workflows, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and output
•Supervise modeling efforts to ensure that specifications and constructs adhere to appropriate mathematical and statistical standards and answer particular analytic questions
•Identifying business requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output)
•Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical techniques, tools, models, simulation, etc
•Develops, recommends and documents adjustments to workflow to streamline processes
•Involved in cross-organizational task groups concerning new automated systems, products and/or services
•Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations, alternatives and implications
•Write requirements and define editorial workflow for business owner projects
•Develop and oversee project plans and roadmaps that outline preventative and corrective actions necessary to remediate control deficiencies, maximizing effectiveness and mitigating future exposure
•Ensure preventative, detective, and corrective controls are properly identified and documented
•Conduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutions
•Monitor performance of systems to ensure continued systems efficiency
•Develop and execute test plans, test cases, user acceptance testing, controlled testing, validation, and communicate production changes, releases and discrepancy reports to key stakeholders
•Remains abreast of emerging technologies, trends, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance related to SalesForce/nCino and offers recommendations that aligns with business goals
•Collaborate with key partners in development and delivery of solutions
•Represent the business unit in identifying, analyzing and communicating system solutions
•Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices, evaluate results, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful implementation of business unit projects
•Partner with other business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to management
•Interact with other ISD staff, business units (end users) in problem resolution efforts
•Coordinate integration of solutions with existing applications; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensures compatibility
•Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
•Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
•Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams
•Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
•Collaborate with Information Services to implement Salesforce best practices, and maintain Salesforce environments
•Utilize performance measurements and indicators to identify areas for improvement; develop process improvement plans for each performance indicator or area identified
•Implement new/enhanced products, services and/or operational changes
•Provide systems integration services of nCino UI with core services and middleware technologies e.g. Java, SOA and data architectur
•Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications – All required unless otherwise noted

•Master’s Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of certification, education and experience
•Minimum two years of experience as a administrator
• Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
•Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
•Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
•Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
•Strong understanding of best practices and functionality
•Strong data management abilities
•A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
•A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
•Experience with nonprofit processes preferred
•Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
•Extensive experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issue
•Extensive experience in the application of change management, environment management, agile methodologies, test automation,
•Extensive experience in leading collaborative work teams
•Significant experience in monitoring and maintaining Salesforce platform applications
•Extensive experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
•Expert knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling
•Expert research, analytical, and problem solving skills
