Basic Purpose

To provide strategic and analytical support to the Acquisition team within Credit Card Products in the design and tracking of marketing campaigns, completion of analyses, improvement of business processes, and execution of strategic initiatives. Create and support performance studies, strategic analyses, operational reports, and marketing campaigns, all designed to optimize and drive new acquisition. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deploy and measure the performance of credit card products and initiatives.  Manage projects and initiatives that focus on strategic, financial, and member service goals.  Apply broad functional knowledge and expertise to assist in strategic decision-making based on recommendations and actionable insights to identify areas of improvement in current processes and new business opportunities.


•Ensure effective initiative management from inception through implementation
•Defines, develops and executes project plans, including scope definition, expectations, activities, cost estimates, and schedules
•Develops clear and concise “big picture” of projects within Navy Federal organizational goals
•Provide strategic analysis and recommendations regarding technology, industry trends, and competitor performance  that help influence strategic decisions
•Utilize performance measurements and indicators to identify areas for improvement; develop process improvement plans for each performance indicator or area identified
•Assist in regular operational reporting & campaign reporting to assist in tracking credit cards and identify insights of value
•Serve as subject matter expert regarding product functions and how they relate to other products and services
•Collaborate with key partners in development and delivery of solutions
•Manages small, multiple projects, or portions of a larger project
•Participates in complex interdepartmental initiatives of significant business risk & impact
•Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices, evaluates results, and provides leadership and guidance to ensure successful implementation of business unit projects
•Serve on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives within the business unit &/or across the organization
•Liaison with external partners to accomplish tasks and larger products
•Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications – All required unless otherwise noted

•Desired – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field
•Knowledge of banking/financial industry trends, products and services
•Experience in marketing campaign management and product specific analytics
•Knowledge and experience with a broad range of analytic, reporting and data visualization tools - e.g. Excel, Tableau, Cognos, JMP, and SQL
•Demonstrated experience leveraging data storytelling techniques and communicating key insights and recommendations  through PowerPoint presentations
•Strong research, planning, organization, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
•Strong project management skills and ability outline the vision and define the roadmap
•Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
•Strong skills in collaborating across organizational boundaries and building partnerships with various functional groups
•Ability to lead and manage multiple projects
•Ability to multitask, work independently, and exercise initiative and judgment
•Effective skill interacting with staff, management, vendors and members diplomatically and tactfully
•Effective skill to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes
