Basic Purpose

We are seeking a talented and driven simulation modeler to join our Lending Analytics team. In this role, you will develop and apply simulation models to drive operational efficiencies across the Lending division. As part of an interdisciplinary team of analysts, statisticians, and modelers, you will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining simulation models for capacity planning, scheduling, and process improvement.

Additional responsibilities include:
•    Provide analytical and modeling support for various business strategies to ensure Enterprise goals are met. 
•    Propose, develop, and deliver recommendations to management.  

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with internal business partners across the Lending division to develop and deploy simulation models for capacity planning, staffing, and process improvement
* Perform full cycle simulation model design and development which includes but is not limited to identifying objectives, data gathering, model development, testing/validation, calibration, and monitoring performance 
* Proactively work with internal clients and other business areas to create project plans with clear objectives, detailed tasks, accountabilities, timelines, and estimated corporate impact 
* Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines; ensure projects are completed on time and meet internal client expectations 
* Effectively communicate status, models, and recommendations to non-technical audience of various levels 
* Work under moderate supervision
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications – All required unless otherwise noted:

* Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
* Experience with simulation modeling (discrete event, agent based, etc.) and software (Anylogic, Arena, Vensim, etc.) 
* Experience with statistical analysis and data manipulation tools (SAS, R, Python, SQL, SPSS Modeler, JMP, etc.) 
* Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to deliver quality results before deadlines
* Strong drive for excellence
* Desired - PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
* Desired - Knowledge of Lending products, policies and procedures

Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
