Basic Purpose

Identifies, scopes, documents, coordinates and implements business requirements which determine solutions that enhance business systems and operations.

Responsibilities:

* Analyze and document business requirements and operational processes - Complex/Difficult
* Develop and coordinate issue resolutions; monitor results for long term viability - Moderate impact
* Develop test plans, test criteria, scenarios and documentation; ensure acceptance of delivered solutions - Lead
* Investigate operational problems; recommend solutions to customer - Complex/Difficult
* Monitor performance of systems to ensure continued systems efficiency
* Provide demonstrations of proposed solutions and technology; drive for team consensus - Advanced
* Represent the business unit in identifying, analyzing and communicating system solutions - Assist in leading
* Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals - Advanced analysis
* Apply and communicate changes and new trends in systems/technology - Advanced
* Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results
* Develop, recommend and document adjustments to workflow to streamline processes - Considerable latitude
* Discover issues and determine scope, scale and impact - Complex/Difficult
* Lead, guide and mentor less experienced staff
* Troubleshoot system issues - Complex/Difficult
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications – All required unless otherwise noted:

* Experience in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impact
* Extensive experience in researching, compiling, and documenting data, business processes, and workflow
* Significant experience in leading collaborative work teams
* Significant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
* Significant experience in supervising and leading managerial staff
* Significant experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions
* Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills
* Advanced skill analyzing and organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions
* Advanced skill applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues
* Advanced skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulations
* Advanced skill in project management to include establishing and leading project teams; managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation
* Desired - Bachelor's Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
* Desired - Advanced knowledge of Navy Federal Project Portfolio Management (PPM) knowledge
* Desired - Advanced knowledge of credit union operations/processes and procedures

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
