Basic Purpose

To perform, organize, facilitate, and/or coordinate tasks/activities for the respective Service area. Interact with other ISD staff, business units (end users) in problem resolution efforts. Recommend process improvements to management. Organize, facilitate and coordinate project initiatives from incentive through implementation under direction, guidance and mentorship of Project/Program manager or management. Compile and prepare management reports of data trends/metrics in supporting Service KPIs and SLAs. 


• Define, measure, analyze, and improve PMO processes through process mapping and data analysis.
• Evaluate and Support ISD Project Portfolios through analysis, reporting, and modeling.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports to stakeholders.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests from management.
• Perform assigned tasks/activities of respective ISD Service area 
• Provide day-to-day support for the execution of the service 
• Respond to internal inquiries or requests for assistance; escalate to higher level staff or management as needed 
• Identify and communicate to management issues that have potential impact to the service 
• Identify and document clear and understandable standards and procedures 
• Perform research and analysis of Service related inquiries 
• Involved in projects or portions of projects 
• Attend project team meetings and assist with determination of project requirements 
• Prepare project plans, proposals, schedules, budgets, communications and staffing requirements 
• Monitor and maintain project/program schedule, documentation, progress and change requests and provide weekly status updates 
• Escalate project issues to Project Manager and/or management for resolution Limited latitude 
• Identify and recommend process improvements to Project Manager, team and /or management Limited latitude 
• Track and reconcile Service records and inventory Basic/routine 
• May interact with vendors regarding Service billing, equipment or service Limited latitude 
• Adhere to ISD Navy Federal practices, policies and procedures 
• Perform other related duties as assigned or appropriate 


• Working knowledge of enterprise systems, terminal knowledge and IT terminology 
• Effective verbal written communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
• Effective organizational, planning and time management skills 
• Effective troubleshooting and resolving technical problems 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy 
• Exposure to working with diverse internal and external contacts 
• Familiarity with project/program management processes and methodologies 
• Exposure to working and participating in cross-functional multi-dimensional teams and projects 
• Basic research, analytical and problem solving skills 
• Effective in the use of PCs and related software packages 
• Desired - Knowledge of Microsoft Project and project management tools 
• Desired - Knowledge of Navy Federal operations, policies, and procedures 
• Desired - Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) 
• Desired - Certified Associates in Project Management (CAPM) Certification
