Basic Purpose

The cloud administration team is responsible for the overall health, configuration and automation of the public cloud IaaS and major PaaS providers. The team will also get involved in cases of issues, when the application support group identifies a problem outside of their control, and requires close collaboration with other operational groups. Each member of the team will over time have to learn all aspects required so that anyone can do any task that may arise. This is a hands-on IT infrastructure position in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to develop sound automation solutions. Troubleshoot automation issues and find practical solutions to address barriers, enabling forward movement in the application lifecycle
• Recommend, evaluate, deploy and maintain cloud automation and orchestration technologies
• Monitor resource consumption and trigger necessary action
• Monitoring vendor security portal information and helping consumers to correct any flagged items
• Deployment guidance to other teams
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years’ experience with the following Networking Technologies: TCP/IP, STP, HSRP, NAT, QOS, SNMP, SYSLOG
• 1 -2 years’ experience with Azure cloud Networking technologies 
o VNETs
o Express Route
o User Defined Routes
o Network Security Groups
o Azure Load balancers and Application Gateways
o Azure DNS
• Excellent skills with PowerShell Scripts, RESTful Web Services and Azure Key Vault
• Possess and maintain a deep understanding of IaaS and PaaS services offered on Azure cloud platforms and understand how to design and operate networks to support ease of use, self-service, automation, and reliability of services
• Expertise in routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Experience using Microsoft VSTS and Git Hub
• 3-5 years’ experience in Checkpoint firewall Technologies, preferably Checkpoint R80.10
• Expertise in Security Technologies (IPS, Anti-virus, Anti-Bot, Proxy, Data loss Prevention, HTTPs Inspection)
• Experience with IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions from Infoblox

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or 5+ years of experience in Networking, Network Security
• Industry Certifications: MCSA/MCSE (Cloud Technologies), Checkpoint CCSE, CCNA/CCNP

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
24x7 on-call rotation required
