Basic Purpose

To analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage systems and processes with a considerable degree if latitude. Works with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new functionality. Using advanced knowledge of the organization’s technology infrastructure and specific software applications assist the business to implement strategic vision through technology. Considered a stakeholder/contributor on complex systems projects and project teams.gs and events, and fostering an environment for high performance. The Scrum Master manages a continuous workflow of their team. They advocate, adopt and coach their team on lean, agile and scrum practices. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and output.
• Coordinate integration of solutions with existing applications or processes; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensures compatibility.
• Analyze information, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics to evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness.  Present recommendations for process improvements opportunities.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical techniques, tools, models, simulation, etc.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutions or improvements.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards, best practices, business processes and technology used within related business areas to ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, procedures, processes and standards.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals
• Involved in cross-organizational task groups concerning new automated systems, products and/or services.
• Serves as change management lead for business unit; apply change management principles and knowledge to develop strategies including organizational assessments, stakeholder analysis and change roadmaps and plans.
• Implement new/enhanced products, services and/or operational changes.
• Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating, documenting results and user acceptance.
• Interact with other Internal Support (ISD) staff, business units (end users) in problem resolution efforts.
• Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices, evaluate results, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful implementation of business unit projects.
• Lead project teams; assure quality, consistent performance; meet schedules and/or resolve highly technical and complex problems
• Serve as resource for the resolution of complex and/or unique problems.
• Ensure preventative, detective, and corrective controls are properly identified and documented
• Lead, guide and mentor less experienced staff (BSA II/III)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
• Advanced knowledge of importing data from varying local environments (SQL, Oracle, DB2, etc).
• Advanced/significant experience developing SQL solutions utilizing SQL Server Integration Studios (SSIS). 
• Advanced knowledge of complex query writing (TSQL) and tuning/optimization practices.
• Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced skill interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of information.
• Advanced knowledge of ETL processes and applicable industry best practices.
• Significant experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes across all process layers locally and in the Cloud.
• Significant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues.
• Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure/Experience to developing data solutions utilizing Cloud technologies. 
• Exposure/Experience with REST API, Powershell and C#, JSON, C#, CSS, HTML desired.
• Experience in leading, guiding and coaching professional staff and teammates (BSA III).
• Significant experience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflow.
• Experience in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impact
• Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies, and procedures

Desired Qualifications:

• Functional knowledge of mortgage intake and/or onboarding 
• Experience with Black Knight Empower LOS & Black Knight MSP Servicing
